Primary Purpose:\n

Responsible for the applications supporting operations at the Heritage Thermal Services plant in East Liverpool, OH. Execute enhancements, provide support and perform upgrades to the core applications working closely with plant management and the extended Heritage IT team. \n

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:\n\nEnsure ARTS and related applications continue to meet the business need.\nCreate and support application code, database procedures and triggers \nCreate application functionality based on user requests and business needs\nDevise and execute unit, integration, and user tests.\nPerform upgrades to the application environment.\nMaintain accurate documentation in source code.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot problems.\nAssist with support for application issues.\nWrite complex queries for reports \n\n

Education: \n

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or equivalent experience \n

Experience:\n\n4+ years of solid programming experience using Genero 4J\/VisualBasic\/C#\/.Net\n4+ years relational database experience required, Informix preferred, Oracle or SQL\nNetwork admin, DBA experience a plus, but not required.\n\n

Knowledge and Abilities:\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines with shifting priorities.\nExcellent problem resolution, judgement, and decision making skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills, including the ability to both lead and work within a team environment.\n\n
