We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Sr. Project Control Specialist (Remote)** to join our team! In this role you will develop, implement, and maintains cost control on one or more larger projects. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Interface with program managers, finance, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement organizations as well as external customers daily to address operational and financial requests in a timely and effective manner. + Responsible for the preparation of the monthly financial deliverables for each assigned project. Monitor and analyze program costs, perform financial analysis for labor, travel, material, subcontract, and ODC estimates against budget and forecast. + Maintain accurate project forecasts and Estimates At Complete (EAC) for both internal and external reporting. Participate in quarterly forecasting and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development. + Support the preparation and distribution of financial information and analysis within required deadlines and ensure that the information provided is concise, relevant, and understandable to assist program management and operation leadership in making intelligent business decisions. + Monitor subcontractor hours and cost and review subcontractor invoices. Experience with subcontractors charging in Prime’s timekeeping system preferred. + Maintain accurate records of procurement activity, to be tracked and reconciled each month. Understanding of accurate material forecasting and purchase order vouchers and commitments. + Ensure compliance with accounting principles, government regulations, and company policies and procedures. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent) and 5-8 years of related work experience. + Experience in dealing with various types of contracts is mandatory. (e.g., firm-fixed-price, fixed-price with economic price adjustment, fixed-price incentive, cost reimbursement, cost sharing, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and time and material). + Ability to work independently in a remote environment. + Ability to effectively support multiple programs and functional leads simultaneously **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Advanced use of MS Excel + Experience with Deltek Cospoint + Experience supporting Technical Direction Letter (TDL) under large GSA Task Orders. + Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to both precision and accuracy **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
