Sr. Project Engineer - Corporate Details:
Direct Hire position$125,000.00 to $140,000.00 /annuallySalariedExecuting capital projects, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance goals are met or exceeded. This may vary from owning portions of a large project to sole ownership of a projectOwnership of project justification, completing payback analysis, and authoring requests for capital fundsDeveloping preliminary concepts, budgetary capital estimates, and timelines for new products, projects, and improvementsAssisting in and / or developing vendor bid packages and final vendor selection for purchased parts and services in collaboration with procurement teamPeriodically providing status updates on project progress and issuesInvestigating manufacturing problems in the plants and recommending corrective actions. This includes consulting with production personnel, analyzing the supporting data, recommending corrective actions, and following through on recommendations to evaluate their effectivenessDrives achievement of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of assigned projectsCoordinating training and start-up activities of new equipment and processesManage capital, labor, parts, contracted services and expense budgetsReplacing/adding production capabilities by adding or modifying equipmentEstablishing equipment SOP's and maintenance practices to place assets in a precision stateModifying equipment and processes to automate manual tasks to improve capacity and/or reduce costCompleting IQ / OQ / PQ process for new equipment installations when necessary.Sr. Project Engineer - Corporate Qualifications:
Basic understanding of engineering principals - knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Mechanical and Automation5 years of project management experienceAble to work collaboratively with other functional groupsAbility to take ownership of projects, to work independently and make autonomous decisions when necessary Understanding design for reliability and total cost of ownership principalsExperience with AutoCAD and PLC Programming is desirableWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
