Sr. Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to oversee software deployment projects at a leading higher education institution near San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing enterprise-level software deployment, capacity planning, and resource allocation. Experience in higher education is a plus.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Project Management: Lead enterprise-level software deployment projects such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Create project charters, monitor progress, and ensure deliverables are met.
+ Capacity Planning & Resource Allocation: Utilize tools like MS Project and Gantt charts to plan and allocate resources, ensuring optimal utilization and on-time project completion. Make recommendations for additional resources as needed.
+ Execution & Monitoring: Schedule meetings, track and document progress, and manage project tasks. Avoid scope creep and ensure timely sign-offs on scope of work and deliverables.
+ Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and timely updates on project status.
**Qualifications:**
+ 5-7+ years of project management experience, with a focus on enterprise-level software deployment.
+ Strong understanding of project management methodologies, MS Project, and Gantt charts.
+ Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
+ PMP or similar certification is a plus.
+ Higher education experience is highly desirable but not required.
