Job Description An employer in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Software Development) for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible but not limited to the following: will oversee software development projects that modernize critical projects for government customers. Will apply functional knowledge to manage and create solutions for the team to focus on sprint goals for specific models. Will utilize Jira and Confluence to manage and report progress on key tasks to accomplish the sprints, reviews, and retrospectives. Will impact the modeling and simulation of the systems and grow experience with tactical planning and delivery. Will be required to sit on site 5 days/week and have an active Secret Security clearance. Must be willing to obtain a TS/SCI Security clearance. Skills and Requirements Active Secret Security Clearance Bachelors Degree (STEM preferred) 3-10 years of relevant experience 2+ years of experience in software development in a professional environment (Object oriented programming preferred) Experience with Project Management - overseeing coordination, resource management, scheduling and working with on requirements Experience working with Atlassian tools such as Git, GitHub, Jira or Confluence Active TS/SCI Security clearance Masters Degree PMP, CSM, SEP, ASEP or CSEP certification Experience working with modeling and simulation projects null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
