Sr. Project Manager - Footprint Strategy Leader (Supply Chain, Single Use Consumables)

The Footprint Strategy Leader, Single Use Consumables for Cytiva is responsible for the transformation of global supply chain operations through development and execution of end-to-end supply chain capability & capacity assessment, planning, localization, simplification and cost productivity projects. This role supports our business units on matters of product cost, product quality, fulfillment, sustainability, localization, and business operating performance. This position is part of the Footprint Strategy and Execution Department within the Supply Chain Excellence organization and will be fully REMOTE. The preference will be for candidates to be located in the central to east coast regions. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. What you will do: in alignment with the DBS Operation & Supply Chain Engine playbook, you will drive the strategic process as follow: + Footprint Strategy Assessment: You will leverage DBS team & toolkits to assess the performance and gaps of the end-to-end Supply Chain & Operations to achieve the long terms strategic targets of the Business unit i.e. Make/Buy-Where, High Level Assembly strategy, Capacity modeling. You will support the Business Development functional team for due diligences on acquisitions, partnership and strategic alliances. + Footprint strategy Definition: You will elaborate the footprint strategic roadmap with the business unit strategy considering customer priorities, Policy Deployment (Hoshin Kanri) and Core Value Drivers improvement such as security, quality, lead time accuracy and cost position. You will define the end-to-end Security of Supply strategy including dual source, dual make, In Region for Region and localizations; You will connect with stakeholders at various levels of the organization to gather input, assess needs, and drive alignment on key strategic initiatives. + Footprint Strategy Execution: You will integrate, prioritize and launch cross functional initiatives such as expansion, transfer of manufacturing and warehousing activities and new business integrations & collaborations. You will ensure the early engagement of the support functions in new product development and their life cycle management. In that context, you will elaborate projects planning, CapEx and OpEx funding, team structure, resourcing, potential use of new processes such as automation or additive printing, and risk mitigation plan. + Footprint Strategy Monitoring: You will conduct regular Say-Do and lessons learnt sharing sessions. You will assist in reporting for executive leadership and stakeholders; you will lead the strategic operation reviews to monitor the impact of the strategic initiatives on Customers and Core Value Drivers of the Business units of Cytiva. Who you are: + Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field required. Prefer Master’s degree in engineering or manufacturing. + Prefer 5+ years of experience with proven leadership in manufacturing or supply chain role. + Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Proven mentoring and coaching abilities. Change agent with energy, passion & enthusiasm to drive change + Solid working knowledge of project management and product & process maturity stages. + Working knowledge of Lean tools and Lean thinking. Travel, Requirements: + Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 40% of time It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Ability to deliver results in an ambiguous environment, to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priority channels. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The salary range for this role is $120k - $150k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
