CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager - Highway to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Highway & Rail Team at our office in either Colonie, NY; Syracuse, NY; Buffalo, NY; or Rochester, NY.

The Sr. Project Manager - Highway will be responsible for the overall management and oversight of projects within the group. The professional in this role will assume the position of seller/doer with the responsibility to help sell and develop work with specific clients. Primary functions include interfacing with the market, client, and project teams. The Sr. Project Manager - Highway will assess and thoroughly understand all project risks and applicable financial measures.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management or a related degree is required; Master’s Degree preferred Minimum 10 years' experience required including at least 8 years of project management experienceExperience with NYS DOT, NYS Thruway Authority, Local Municipalities experience preferred Consulting industry experience highly preferredPE or equivalent professional license preferred PMP Certification preferred Ability to manage client relationshipsExperience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects requiredExperience in Microsoft Office suite requiredExperience understanding and interpreting client contract requirementsExperience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments requiredExperience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management requiredKnowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferredKnowledge of Deltek Vision preferredAn articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups requiredMust have good written communication & negotiation skillsGood interpersonal and leadership skills requiredStrong ability to work in a team environment requiredAbility to travel as needed required (within NYS) SALARY RANGE:$131,000 - $168,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
