We are looking for Sr. Project Manager (Rolling Stock)

The incumbent will be responsible to lead project management for Indian Railways & Metro Rolling Stock orders incl. EMU, MEMU, Trainsets, Locomotives, Metros etc. falling under Rolling Stock Business Unit.

You’ll make a difference by

Managing cross functional project team comprising engineering, procurement, testing and commissioning, quality, production etc.Leading core project deliverables incl .design approval process, timely delivery of prototype rolling stock /components, testing & commissioning of rolling stock, homologation of prototype vehicle, commencement of series deliveries, payment collection from customer, managing the warranty period and timely contract closure.Leading all discussions and interfaces within the organization and towards customer stakeholdersManaging the key KPIs of execution viz. Quality, Cost and TimeConsistently managing the customer relationship for smooth execution of the ordersLeading the technical and commercial topics towards customer organizationLeading the Project Governance activities (gate reviews) to ensure qualitative and timely executionLeading all project reviews within organization and towards customersManaging contractual warranty obligations for timely project closure Ensuring Site Compliance & EHS implementationCoordinate on-site & off-site activities to ensure proper work progressInputs to bid and sales team to ensure preparation of a competitive rolling stock bidHands on experience of managing customers like Indian Railways, Metro Organizations etc.

Desired Skills:

Relevant experience of minimum 12+ years in Project Management function preferably in Railway / Metro Rolling stock domainYou have sound commercial understanding along with profit and loss experience coupled with risk management skills.You have good communication and collaboration skillsYou have managed execution of multiple Rolling Stock / components projects from Indian Railways / Metro organization in the pastYou have good understanding of the way in which Rolling Stock projects are managed and delivered to influence, monitor, and challenge every aspect of the execution Good communication skills
