Position:Sr. Provider Services Liaison

Position Summary:Acts as a subject matter expert and improves physician and team understanding of health plan operations and overall engagement with the health plan across one or more market. Establishes significant "mindshare" at all levels within our physician partners by demonstrating and fostering the collaborative relationship we seek with them. Responsible for enabling, encouraging, and influencing our physicians to be compliant marketers of our health plan. Plays a critical role in fortifying the collaborative relationship with our physicians at the practice level.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

Creates and fosters strong relationships with physicians and their teams/partners that help influence desired behaviors.Acts as the primary point of contact for health plan operations for one or more markets. Responsible for impacting resulting by cultivating a collaborative and influential relationships with each physician/partner.Advocates for the needs of physician practices and partners cross-functionally to improve provider engagement and success.Maintains thorough knowledge of EHI/Lumeris, operating practices, and various practice workflows. Provides valuable insight to providers and acts as a catalyst to further goals and strategy.Serves as a liaison for specialists and ancillary providers, including providing welcome packets/outreach calls, handling escalated problems (plan, member, or PCP), and planning/providing/assisting with orientation, provider portal training, and/or documentation and coding education.Responds to internal requests (charts, audits, grievances, etc.) and Provider Engagement email bucket.Acts as a senior resource in the support or co-guiding of programs being offered (such as EE and IHA).Assists with AEP materials annually and other projects as needed.Acts as primary point of contact for advanced medical groups without an assigned PHM. Functions as the PHM and meets the needs of assigned medical groups.Trains, coaches, and supports junior team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent5+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the roleThorough understanding of the change management cycle and healthcare industry current trendsStrong knowledge of any of the following areas: Medicare advantage, Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP), managed care regulations, quality reporting, care management, population management, ACO strategy implementation and operations, and supporting providers in risk-based contractsStrong client-facing, collaboration, interpersonal, relationship building skills with the ability to foster relationships at all levelsAbility to impact results in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the proven ability to understand and utilize healthcare metricsSharp team-work, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate and guide complex client interactions at all levels internally and externallySkilled at training and coaching

The hiring range for this position is:

$63,600.00-$84,300.00
