Description We are offering a contract for a Sr. Public Tax Accountant role in NEW YORK, New York. The role is primarily within the finance industry where you'll be an essential team member, focusing on individual tax returns. The position will require your on-site presence for a few days per week. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review individual tax returns before distribution • Utilize accounting software, such as Prosystems/Axis, for various accounting functions • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing customer credit applications • Maintain comprehensive and correct customer credit records • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service • Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate actions • Utilize knowledge in U.S. International Tax for various accounting tasks • Work proficiently with CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx software.
