What the role offers:

Develop and implement a robust test strategy aligned with overall quality assuranceObjectives.Drive continuous improvement in Quality and Dev efficiency via systemic process, Quality metrics.Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing objectives, scope, and deliverables.Identify and mitigate the testing-related risks throughout the software development lifecycle.Development and execution of test plans and scripts.Collaboration with Development teams, managers, leads and Product managementDocumenting test results and test reports.Understanding of web servers/clusters and configuring and deploying web applications.Regression test cases automation.Ability to lead a small team of skilled testers, if required.An understanding of accessing and configuring SQL Server and Oracle Databases , web servers.Creating and deploying VMWare/VMlogix/Vcloud virtual machines.Working on Documentation requirements/reviews.Java based automation – junits, shell/python scripting, seleniumSetting up infrastructure configurations (Web servers, app servers, DB servers, clusters).Collecting data for generating useful metrics and Utilizing metrics for improving plans, execution and tracking.Risks management and collaborating with required stakeholders at leadership level on planning, risk mitigation/escalation.Test case/plans management tools.Lead and mentor other team members.Collaborate with Product Owner to plan and prioritize tasks for others to support the achievement of team objectives.Work across teams and functional roles to ensure interoperability among other products, including training and consultation.Provide status updates to stakeholders and escalates issues when necessary.Bug tracking tools, workflows.Experience on UI Automation tools and build toolsAct as a shield for the rest of the R&D team, stepping in first (but not as frontline support, first for R&D) and coordinating teams, leading investigation, and communication with all stakeholders, internal and external.Participate in calls with support and customers to investigate and communicate on current fix plans and technical issues.Manage dynamic backlog and help prioritize work for SCRUM teams working with PM.Qualify Enhancement Requests and help prioritize with Product Management based on your experience and feedbacks.Act as single point of contact for customer/support and collaborate with different SCRUM teams to find the adequate resources.Collaborate with a worldwide team to hand over work and get help from many experts.Debug the issues and provide fix/patches to customers.

What you need to succeed:

 

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.Typically, 7+ years of experience with customer facing and quality assurance role for 5 years.Iron will and strong motivation to grow.Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Using software applications design tools and languages.Excellent time management and self-organization/autonomy.Software applications basic testing methodology, including writing and execution of testing scripts and tools.Knowledge of JScript and VBScript and Ant/maven.Java and C++ based applications debugging and testing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.Good Networking and DB skills experienceProven experience as a Test Lead or similar role in a fast-paced environment.In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skillsProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java script, Shell script, Python)Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).Leadership and mentoring experience.
