Volt is immediately hiring for Sr Quality Controller in Long Beach, CA.

\r\n\r\n


\r\nAs a Sr Quality Controller you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLead continuous improvement initiatives to boost product/service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction\r\n\tCreate and enforce quality assurance policies and procedures to guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.\r\n\tHave extensive knowledge and expertise in Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) \r\n\tConduct quality audits and inspections, both within the organization and with suppliers, to pinpoint areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.\r\n\tWork alongside other teams in production, engineering, and customer service to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.\r\n\tExamine data and performance metrics to track product/service quality, detect trends, and apply preventive measures.\r\n\tFacilitate training sessions for staff on quality standards, processes, and techniques to foster a culture of quality excellence.\r\n\tOversee the documentation and reporting of quality assurance activities, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans\r\n\tPerforms other duties as assigned\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHave a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).\r\n\tExtensive knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and relevant industry regulatory requirements.\r\n\tOver 8 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related role, with demonstrated experience in a senior or leadership position.\r\n\tStrong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive quality improvements.\r\n\tEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.\r\n\tCertification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm open to overtime

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $37.50 - 41.82 per hour

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
