Sr. Quality Engineer
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Quality Engineer to join one of our medical device manufacturing clients. The Sr. Quality Engineer will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks including partnering with production engineering teams to ensure production quality is meeting standards, evaluating supplier quality, and implementing vendor change controls, and also assessing product quality of final medical devices that are being sent to customers. This role will be 20% hands-on on the manufacturing floor and 80% on computer leveraging quality management system (QMS) and ERP systems for analysis of production and product quality. On average, the Sr. Quality Engineer will be responsible for 6-7 projects at any given time. This role is required to work on-site 5 days per week. Skills and Requirements - Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering - Must have experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (strong preference for FDA regulations) - Must have experience in material review, complaint review, and non-conforming materials - Has conducted quality assessments on both suppliers and customers (process qualifications, validations. and audits) - Experience working in a quality management system (QMS) - Experience working in ERP systems - Experience conducting audits - Lean certification null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
