Summary:
We are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer for our test engineering team on Precision Guidance Technologies. The Senior R&D engineer will own a wide range of product development and test engineering scope supporting our contracted and internally funded programs. In this role, you will work with other team members to execute complex programs from concept through development, qualification and production. You will apply creative technical solutions through a high-level degree of engineering skills and principles including mechanical design, structural analysis, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics. Work will include the verification of product design through extensive test campaigns. You will plan out detailed test programs, hardware requirements and schedule to execute the planned activities. You will work with both internal and customer IPTs to plan, coordinate and execute test campaigns that will be conducted at GD-OTS and external facilities.

Pay Range (USD) The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
