Sr. React Engineer

Summary: Seeking a dedicated Senior React Engineer with hands-on development experience for new project initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Must be currently located within the Continental United States (CONUS).

Minimum 5 years of recent experience dedicated exclusively to React.

Proficiency with a broad range of open-source technologies and tools.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering.

5 to 10 years of Frontend Web development experience with modern performance optimization techniques.

Minimum 5 years of experience with React/Redux, webpack, and Node.js.

Proficient in writing production-level front-end code using JavaScript ES6+, CSS via SASS or LESS, and semantic HTML; Typescript knowledge is a plus.

Expertise in consuming RESTful APIs and understanding UI/UX design principles.

Preferred Skills:

Strong command over software design patterns and fundamental principles.

Ability to understand architecture in complex, large-scale applications.

Demonstrated technical leadership within web application development teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Research new technologies and stay updated with the frontend community's current state.

Share, document knowledge, and best practices among the team.

Design, develop, document, test, and debug new software systems as part of a collaborative team.

Analyze code to find errors and revise programs as needed.

Additional Notes:

Preference for candidates from small to medium-sized companies who show stability (maximum of 2 jobs in the last 5 years).

Looking for hands-on developers rather than team lead types; must have web applications experience (not website developers).

Candidates must articulate well and communicate effectively with the team.

Interview Process:

A brief 15-minute initial phone call with HR

A comprehensive 90-minute MS Teams interview with the development team

Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12-month contract Work Week: Monday - Friday Hours: 8 am - 5 pm

 

 Pay: 50-60

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
