Sr. Retail Media Project Manager

Job Title: Snr. Retail Media Project Manager 

Location: Charlotte NC / Tempe AZ  

Reports to:  Director, Retail Media Network

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Snr. Retail Media Project Manager to help lead the roll out of our Retail Media Network (RMN) business. This role is responsible for implementing the capabilities required to scale the Circle K Retail Media Network and manage delivery.

This role will work across the operations, sales, product, store ops, global tech program teams and external partners to bring best-in-class solutions to market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of retail media, screen technology, CMS, ad technology platforms, and the evolving needs of the customer and consumer-packaged goods (CPG) advertisers.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Screen Management: Lead the development of comprehensive project plans for CK's digital screens, outlining specific goals, KPIs, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.

Store Operations Engagement & Deployment: Work closely with store operations teams to oversee the end-to-end deployment process of digital screens, from planning and installation to testing and maintenance, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints. Optimize screen effectiveness and impact on customer engagement.  Maximize the media playing capabilities of digital screens, leveraging emerging technologies and industry best practices to deliver captivating and dynamic content that resonates with target audiences.

Vendor Contracting & Partner Management: Audits and Owns 3rd party partner contracts (non-product).  Develop strong relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and other sales partners in the retail media network ecosystem.  Upkeep and delivery of any revenue share agreements.

Team Management Tooling: Owner of CRM and Project Management tools for effective management of the cross functional team and tasks.

Financial Process: Oversees and improves financial processes and billing system, to facilitate timely execution of IOs and invoices. Monitors project expenditures and track budget allocations to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.

Team Training and Education: Owner of the program to train and keep immediate and broader teams educated and up to date key industry information.

Digital Presence Coordination:  Upkeep of Vendor Pitch documentation, web page and client facing materials.

Maintain accurate project documentation:  Project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and risk registers, and identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution, adapting quickly to changes and challenges to minimize disruptions and ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in project management, ideally within retail media, digital or out of home marketing industries.Strong understanding of the retail and advertising landscapeStrong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)Strong understanding of digital signage technologies, including hardware and software components, content management systems (CMS), and data analytics platforms.Proven track record of delivering and scaling programs in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience with digital advertising platforms, retail operations, and knowledge of retail media advertising strategies is highly advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with working with retail media network or in media.Understanding of eCommerce, digital marketing, and retail operations.

Qualification in a related field.
