The Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role
Essential Functions:
Have expertise in both technical and functional Oracle Retail Applications. Oracle Retail Version 13x to 16x or above. Have hands on experience in AutoSys - CA, Unix, Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, ODI Administration, and ODI. Attend and contribute to regular project team meetings involving local and remote team members to provide progress updates. Deliver the requirements to capture and demonstrate the successful and high - quality development of technical deliverables, which satisfy client’s specified requirements. Work in accordance with the defect and issue tracking procedures and systems which may be used to assign tasks, track progress, review quality and support the SDLC of the client. Assist with work estimation and preliminary requirement analysis Work within a team structure in accordance with established deliverable dates, in conjunction with onsite / nearshore / offshore team constructions, reporting to offshore/onsite leads/project managers.
Required Experience:
Oracle Retail Development, Enhancement and Production Support experiences.Primary Skills:
· RMS/ ReSA/RIB/ReIM with 12-16 years of experience
Domain Skills:
· Merchandising, Purchase Order, Allocations, Pricing, Sales Audit, Inventory
Functional Skills:
Candidate should be able understand business requirements, Retail - Merchandising System, conduct detailed gap analysis of a product versus the requirements, create the functional design, acts as the functional SME for a module, Retail - Merchandising System, own the business process flows for the customer, Retail - Merchandising System, perform product configuration setup WITH THE OBJECTIVE of ensuring complete coverage of client’s requirements and product quality. Transition Management, Estimation & Resource Planning, Solution Structuring, Incident, Problem management, People management, Program Governance, Risk Management, Knowledge Management, Requirements Management, Change Control Management, Prog. Mgmt.- Benefits Management, Management by Metrics, Financial Acumen, Scope Management, Program Contracting, Organization Change Management, onshore/offshore effective coordination.Technical Competencies:
AutoSys - CA, Unix, Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, ODI Administration, and ODI
Desired Competencies:
Management, Financial Accounting (Stock Ledger) etc., and Accounting is a plus.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will depend on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
