As a Sr Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for management and corporate accounting responsibilities. You will maintain financial information and related reporting, while ensuring internal controls are preserved.
What you’ll be doing...
Coordinate the application of proper revenue recognition for our Software as a Service (SaaS) based business modelPrepare monthly and annual financial statements for the company’s business activitiesEngage with internal functional management to analyze key drivers of revenue and expenses and provide related revenue and profit forecasts for the business to make strategic decisionsCoordinate the monthly determination of segment and product profitability in addition to company level financial resultsPartner with the parent to coordinate and reconcile intercompany activityPerform reconciliations of company financial data, research variances, and adjusts as neededEnter, review, and/or approve financial transactions in the company’s financial systemMaintain controls over sales tax and various business tax reportingReview and/or prepare schedules and work papers for internal auditors as requiredLead special projects and/or project teams, as assignedMonitor compliance with company financial policies and in accordance with GAAPWork with operational leaders to develop annual budget and related mid-year forecastsAssist with financial and tax auditsAssist with department training of other Finance staffWhat you’ll bring to us…
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accountingCPA certification preferredMinimum 5 years of accounting experience within a global corporate environmentMinimum 3 years of revenue recognition experience, preferably in a SaaS technology businessMinimum 5 years of experience working with ERP software (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)ASC 606 experience preferredProven ability to prepare a complete set of financial statements (B/S, I/S, Cash Flow)Experience with multi-currency and transaction/translationProven excellence in written and verbal communicationWorking knowledge of accounting principles and regulationsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAbility to understand, interpret and present conclusions on financial dataDemonstrated ability to work in a leadership role and supervise staff accountantsWe Support Who You Are….
