Sr. RF Engineer - (E4)

We are seeking a highly motivated Sr RF Engineer to join a technology team developing advanced process power solutions to achieve sustainable differentiation in wafer fab equipment. You will be at the forefront of this disruption by using the latest advances in high-power dynamic process power components and validation load simulators. You will lead electrical requirements analysis, functional analysis and performance analysis for the design, integration and verification of electrical components, equipment, and systems. You will work closely with other engineering disciplines, such as systems, software, mechanical, and field engineers, to support our technical engineering products through their life-cycle. This position is responsible for the creation of a multi-generation technology strategy, commensurate with a policy deployment plan to insure commercial alignment and achieving broad technology initiatives. This strategy is tailored to your vision for differentiable and impactful technology roadmaps that deliver innovation with sustainable advantage and superior value to grow core platforms and lead transformational capability. **Minimum Requirements:** Ph.D. in physics, applied physics, engineering, or related fields and 4 years of relevant experience in the following areas: · High power RF amplifiers and topology tradeoffs. · Demonstrated background in developing and delivering on research activities, including progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to diverse stakeholders. · RF engineering design responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and modification of process power technology used in RF product development and experimentation. · Research record as evidenced by a publication record commensurate with level of work experience. · Unique design skills of simulation to detailed prototyping of RF components and circuits. · Rich comprehension of semiconductor physics. · Demonstrated ability to build, validate, and carry out complex experiments, safely and with attention to detail, and to independently diagnose and solve experimental problems. **Preferred Qualifications:** · A multidisciplinary background in an R&D environment is preferred · Provide timely status updates and proactive communications on issues to technology stakeholders. · Compiles data with an accompanying assessment for operational meetings and/or special reports, analysis, and statements. · Demonstrated skill with CAD (Solid Edge preferred), circuit analysis (LTSpice, Genesys, ADS), FEA tools (COMSOL, Ansys Electronics Desktop, etc.), and physics simulations (EM solvers,) · A Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with an emphasis in RF/Electro-magnetics (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 25 years of relevant experience. · Experience in data collection using Matlab/Python or similar tools for analysis is highly desired. · Ability to lead a small team and provide mentoring/training to junior engineering staff and technicians · Ability to work independently and in a team environment. · Ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse population. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Experience leading electrical engineering (RF) failure analysis, conduct experimental tests, evaluates results to formulate and implement solutions to issues · Experience conducting evaluation of product specifications and vendor capability to support product life-cycle · Experience planning, leading and modifying established testing processes and procedures to ensure reliability, accuracy, through data collection, and analysis · Ability to provide remote (phone) support to Field Service Representatives on execution of test procedures and hardware troubleshooting · Experience interfacing with project leaders and other professionals within the engineering department · Ability to travel, as needed **Qualifications** **Education:** Bachelor's Degree **Skills:** **Certifications:** **Languages:** **Years of Experience:** 7 - 10 Years **Work Experience:** **Additional Information** **Time Type:** Full time **Employee Type:** Assignee / Regular **Travel:** No **Relocation Eligible:** Yes **U.S. Salary Range:** $120,000.00 - $165,000.00 The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
