Amazon's Creators Risk – TSS team is seeking an exceptional Sr Risk Manager to lead and elevate our quality assurance and risk mitigation efforts for the Creators Associates Program. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in operational excellence, risk management, and team leadership. As the Sr Risk Manager, you will oversee a team of up to 100 risk investigators, driving process efficiency and operational innovations. Your responsibilities will span site operations, strategy development, people management, and cross-functional collaboration. The candidate will possess deep expertise in risk and compliance operations, demonstrate data-driven decision-making skills, and excel at implementing process improvements. Key job responsibilities
Basic Operations:
- Oversee site operations and deliver on crucial business metrics in a dynamic production environment
- Collaborate with global program owners to architect and implement risk strategies
- Define and articulate the function's goals and vision, working in tandem with Ops Analytics and global operations
- Cultivate deep functional expertise to ensure precision in service standard delivery
- Liaise with the tech organization on business requirement documents (BRD)
- Develop, implement, and govern comprehensive KPI reporting across all projects
People management:
- Lead a team of up to 100 personnel, including quality team managers, supervisors, and business analysts
- Spearhead employee growth initiatives and mentor next-level managers in succession planning and talent development
- Craft and execute employee engagement and development strategies
- Play a crucial role in team hiring and global function recruitment
- Optimize organizational structure to meet current demands and future growth
- Represent the team in the appraisal process, including all managers
Process Improvements:
- Leverage deep business acumen to identify process, tool, and SOP gaps, recommending innovative solutions
- Conceptualize and lead cross-functional projects, developing new metrics and driving tool creation
- Partner with support functions to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Foster a culture of innovation to enhance operational efficiencies and customer experience
Networking:
- Advance organizational goals through effective collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Orchestrate common objectives across various teams and establish robust communication channels

Our investigators not only monitor websites for compliance but also spearhead process improvements, policy clarifications, and trend identification. This role demands exceptional judgment, autonomous decision-making, and the ability to authenticate websites and accounts with minimal supervision.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
