Sr. SAP EWM TPM, Project Kuiper
Description Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. We are looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to represent warehouse operations in system design, user acceptance testing and training for SAP ERP (specifically EWM) to ensure the digital team aligns with the warehouse operation. This is an individual contributor on the warehouse side serving as the connection point to the Kuiper systems implementation team to drive system enhancement/improvements that will reduce inefficiencies and eliminate pain points of our warehouse technicians. We are looking for a motivated and autonomous builder to deliver results to our customers. This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from strategic planning to business requirements definition to system testing/training. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and operating in a rapidly evolving and changing landscape. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic business environment, operating in all levels of the organization. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be balancing multiple priorities and coordinating across multiple levels of leadership. Key job responsibilities - Deep dive into SAP EWM in order to provide daily support to our warehouse technicians. - Oversee daily execution of warehouse operations in SAP, as well as new function design and user acceptance testing for deployment. - Work hand in hand with the systems team to enhance the ERP system, representing the user base in the warehouse to ensure alignment in priorities and functionality. - Drive efficiency and quality through process-focused approaches, process improvement initiatives and root cause/corrective action exercises. - Managing new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations. - Working directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions. - Partnering with other technical program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery. - Owning program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate. - Influencing design and development of strategic processes. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - 3+ years of experience with SAP/EWM/S4 Hana - 3+ years of experience in product or program management experience in SAP/ERP warehouse environment Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field - Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
