Sr. SAP Manufacturing Solution Architect (PP, PM)
Job Description SummaryReporting to the Technology Global Services, Platform Solutions & Services Manufacturing Lead, the Solutions Architect will be responsible for supporting SAP technology strategy, architecture, solution design, maintain global templates and standards, prioritize projects, manage resources, and oversee program execution. The Platform Solutions & Services Architect will collaborate with the TGS Business Partner organization to ensure strategic alignment, identifying, prioritizing, and delivering technology solutions that support the goals and objectives of the TGS organization.

Job Responsibility: 

Lead solution direction and design governance across SAP ECC and S/4 Manufacturing portfolio.

Responsible for SAP functional design and delivery supporting the convergence of strategic BD manufacturing sites to SAP ECC.   

Provide the functional leadership to design, build, and deploy BD’s SAP S/4 Manufacturing template.

Design governance for the SAP S4 Manufacturing template to ensure consistency and scale across all manufacturing sites.

Collaborate with MES and Prometheus teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP systems.

Develop productive relationships and strategic alignment with business partner teams across the organization.

Manage relationships with major platform vendors and service providers to ensure they cost-effectively meet the needs of the organization. 

Work with Validation, Quality and Security teams to ensure systems are validated and compliant to latest standards and policies. 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience: 

Strong Domain knowledge of Manufacturing processes inclusive of planning, detailed scheduling, manufacturing execution and maintenance.  

Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP manufacturing solutions, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4 .

Proficiency in SAP modules such as Production planning, Production execution, Detailed scheduling, and Plant maintenance.

Proven track record of successful SAP ECC and SAP S/4 implementations and rollouts.

Experience with end-to-end lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4 from Blueprint, Design, Roll out and Support.  

Experience in Pharma, Med Device is preferred.  

Experience with integration to MES systems, shop floor and plant maintenance systems.

In addition, the ideal candidate should also possess:     

SAP certification in relevant modules.

Knowledge of FDA 21CFR Part 11, understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software validation procedures. 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills .

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Strong technology delivery leadership experience.

Education and Training: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
