Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Scrum Master with 10+ years plus experience. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Duluth, GA, USA (Onsite- 3 days/week)

You must be legally authorized to work in the USA without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Roles/Responsibilities:

· Required to manage scrum ceremonies for two or more agile teams. Strong Agile fundamentals with technical acumen required.

· Drives alignment with POs, Engineers and leaders.

· Communication with leadership on delivery status and key decisions needed to support project delivery - including signoffs

· Steers technical program conversations (e.g., relating to architectural approach and system design) and articulates solutions; co-develops and documents solution

· Follows and instills documentation best practices to ensure designs meet requirements

· Develops documentation to ensure ongoing maintenance and development of technical and regulatory solutions

· Document all Tech Debt/Health features to be delivered in the upcoming timebox in JIRA (rotation basis each PI)

· Finalize commitments, sprint plans with Tech teams from a tech perspective

· PI Readiness (take features through the PI readiness criteria to assess the completeness of the features from a tech perspective)

· Risk and Issues identification and management plan

· Dependencies identification and management

· Milestones set-up and Release plan management

· Understands tech stack to help plan and progress work

Required Qualifications:

· Have a basic understanding of Agile concepts and principles

· Have some basic understanding of Scrum, Kanban

· Certifications: SAFE Certification Or Scrum Certification

· Communication: Excellent interpersonal communication skills to support and motivate developers

· Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Leadership: The ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies

· Adaptability: The ability to adapt and be flexible

· Time management: The ability to manage time and prioritize

· Conflict resolution: The ability to resolve conflict and negotiate
