Description
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Security Technical Program Manager with a background in vulnerability and risk management who will help identify, analyze, and prioritize security risk identified through a variety of sources across Amazon. This work will help drive leadership prioritization and reduced security and compliance risk.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage and be accountable for security programs and/or projects to reduce security and compliance risk.
- Work across various stakeholders to identify and evaluate customer needs and solutions.
- Lead the identification and assessment of risk areas for commonality, themes, etc.
- Continuously prioritize risk for service teams, security teams, and executive leadership.
- Work with security engineers and others to develop technical risk mitigation strategies and approaches.
- Communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally with team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Integrate into various enterprise risk management processes.
About the team
Amazon Stores Security - Security & Regulatory Compliance (SRC) is the team responsible for maintaining global regulatory compliance for all Amazon Stores, Devices, and Others to include payment and healthcare compliance. Additionally, SRC works to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risk identified through various compliance activities, pentesting, and other sources.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- 3+ years of security risk management experience working across multiple elements of a security organization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
