As a Senior Software Engineer at CVS Health, you'll play a crucial role in building and delivering high-quality software that enhances customer experiences. You'll be involved in all phases of software engineering, from requirements analysis to deployment, while adhering to agile software development methodologies. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business. **As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:** • Maintain all-round view of solution, understanding both business and technical challenges and also both functional and non-functional needs of solution. • Partner with the peer developers, quality engineer’s product managers and subject matter experts to design and develop end-to-end solution options • Focus massively on delivering with speed and quality. • Apply sound DevOps and delivery automation best practices, strong knowledge in SalesforceDX evolving technologies. • Actively participate in internal and external Communities of Practice • Participate in all phases of SDLC • Understand business requirements / user stories and translate them into technical design & actionable software within Salesforce environment. • Participate in daily scrums, work with PM, BA, QA and Infrastructure team on issues, timelines & priorities. • Mentor and oversee the development effort of other Junior developers. • Coordinate technical development effort with 3rd party vendors and oversee their design, development & documentation work to ensure it is on-track with high quality. • Coordinate development of high-level test scenarios with Product Managers • Validate UAT completion and signoff with Product Managers • Adhere to Corporate change control management processes. • Coordination with Salesforce releases • Strong knowledge of Salesforce application including configuration, triggers, process builders, Lightning flows, workflows, visual force, apex coding, custom objects, batch processes and database design. • Strong knowledge of Salesforce APIs, working with Base Lightning Components, platform events, usage of the Lightning Design System, Record Pages and Single Page Applications, communicating with Events • Experience must include strong working knowledge and ability to Code APEX (classes, triggers and web services) Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, SOSL, Outbound Messaging, Force.com platform as well as integration technologies (Web Services, xml, REST, SOAP). • Web programming languages (HTML 5, CSS 3) required. You will be intellectually challenged to solve problems associated with large scale complex, structured and unstructured data, which will allow you to grow your technical skills and engineering expertise. **Required Qualifications:** • 3+ years of experience with designing and building software engineering solutions in cloud environments (preferably Salesforce Cloud Platform). • 3+ years of experience in one or more modern languages, such as APEX, SOQL etc. • 3+ years of experience with APIs, microservices, and modern software patterns • 1+ year(s) of soliciting complex requirements and managing relationships with key stakeholders. • 1+ year(s) of experience independently managing deliverables. **Preferred Qualifications:** • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required. • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in salesforce and a record of success supporting a fast-paced business organization, providing technical expertise, while applying best practices and leveraging core force.com platform capabilities • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Apex coding. **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred. **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $101,970.00 - $203,940.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
