Specific Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of client/server web based application architectures in a fast paced development environment. The web based application architectures include web applications, web services, and database operations. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction. Candidate should be familiar with Software Engineering methodologies such as Software Development Life Cycle and Agile development.
Required Skills in the following areas:
Development skills on Coldfusion, JAVA/J2EE Technologies, HTML, CSS, JSP, Wordpress, PHP, Spring Framework, Tiles Framework, Oracle Application Server, Eclipse, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, Oracle, JavaScript, Apache Ant, CVS, SSL certificates. Engineer will have to get familiar with the implementation process and operation process. Experience with installation of COTs products. Familiarity with the ACF and HHS datacenter systems.
Typical Minimums: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Desired skills: WSAD, XML, Web Services, Apache Axis, Web application integration with Web Services, and Web application design.
CANDIDATES need to have either a BS with 9 years total work experience or an MS with 7 years
