Description We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our team in Framingham, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for backend development, implementing AB testing strategies, and working in an Agile Scrum environment. You will also be involved in API development and will contribute to our Ruby on Rails and JavaScript frameworks. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain backend code using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript. • Implement AB testing strategies to optimize user experience and product performance. • Work within an Agile Scrum team, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Utilize Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications. • Develop and maintain APIs for integration with other systems and services. • Work with the React.js framework to build user interfaces. • Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen our technology platform and development practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Debug and optimize existing and new code. • Document code consistently and maintain a robust log of all development and revisions. Requirements • Proven experience as a Sr. Software Engineer or similar role for a minimum of 3 years • Proficiency in backend development • Knowledge and experience with AB testing methodologies • Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices and principles • Ability to work with Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications • Expertise in API development and management • Proficient in Ruby on Rails for server-side web application development • Strong JavaScript programming skills • Experience in developing user interfaces using React.js • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
