Summary: Seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design and develop Windows desktop applications for real-time reconstruction and offline analysis of 3D atom probe data.
Job Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Science (MS preferred)
5+ years of design & development experience
Proficiency in C#/WPF/WinUI/Avalonia/UWP/MAUI-based Windows desktop applications and DLLs
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, MVVM design patterns, and 3D visualization
Agile methodology experience including continuous integration
Preferred Skills:
Experience with developing and debugging multithreaded applications
Knowledge of 3D data analysis algorithms and statistical techniques in scientific applications
Familiarity with C++/CLI software and GPU/shader code
Responsibilities:
Design and develop Windows desktop applications for real-time reconstruction and offline analysis of 3D atom probe data
Develop and maintain scientific data analysis modules
Follow all phases of software lifecycle management including design, review, implementation, deployment, and defect tracking
Interface with internal and external customers to capture, analyze, and implement functional requirements
Develop a systems-level understanding of Atom Probe Tomography (APT) theory, operation, and applications
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
