Senior Software Engineer This is not a web development role. A consultant is needed to come in for 1-2 weeks, assess the Java code, make recommendations, fix the problem. Key skills are Java 1.7, JDK 7, C++, SOAP, J2EE. We expect that the “fixes” will take 3 months or more.

Senior Software Engineer with experience in Java 1.7 (required) for a contract role. This contract entails analyzing current code, determining 

problems, recommending and implementing solutions. Expected duration is 3 months +. Work 

is onsite in Nashville, TN.

Our client’s requirements include the following experience:

ï‚· Java 1.7, J2EE, C++ Software Architecture and Development.

ï‚· Development experience in C++, SOAP and J2ee system architecture

ï‚· System integration & enhancements for proprietary, client facing and in-house systems.

ï‚· Development of J2ee customer facing applications and middle-ware.

ï‚· Experience in the implementation and integration of retail platforms between external front-

end applications and proprietary applications.

ï‚· Experience gathering and refining requirements (In UML 2.0)

ï‚· Experience with PostgreSQL is a big plus.
