Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience in Angular JS and Java. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model primarily during day shifts. This role does not require travel. The candidate will contribute to developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with our companys goals and impact society positively.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Angular JS and Java.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Help maintain code quality organization and automation.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Implement and maintain best practices for software development.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.Ensure all development activities comply with established standards and methodologies.Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of applications.Qualifications
Possess a strong background in Angular JS and Java with at least 8 years of experience.Demonstrate proficiency in developing and maintaining complex software systems.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Show strong communication and collaboration skills.Have experience with version control systems like Git.Be familiar with Agile development methodologies.Have a solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns.Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Have a strong understanding of web development technologies and frameworks.Possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.Have experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.The Cognizant community:
