WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be part of the Digital Design & Merchandising, Product Creation, Planning, and Manufacturing Technology team at Converse. You will take direction and work primarily with the Product Creation team, supporting our FlexPLM solution. As a team, we regularly interact with Product Creation business stakeholders globally, as well as product and engineering peers to ensure we are aligning technology outcomes and solutions with prioritized initiatives.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experienced FlexPLM Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our FlexPLM engineering team, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of FlexPLM solutions and capabilities, as well as data integration requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.

The role is for local candidates to our Boston, MA, or Beaverton, OR, Atlanta, GA office, with the expectation of monthly visits to our HQ for events or meetingsBachelor's Degree or higher Information technology, computer science or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience.5 - 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and/or retail industryPTC FlexPLM Certification is a plus5+ years of experience with FlexPLM. VibeIQ experience a plusPTC FlexPLM Certification is a plusStrong knowledge of Java, Spring, and Hibernate. Python experience a plusExperience with web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectureFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)Strong understanding of database design and data modellingExperience with cloud-based platforms (AWS and Azure) and data integration tools, such as AWS Glue, S3, DynmoDB & Lambdas, or Azure Data FactoryExperience with IT service management tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.Experience with Jenkins and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, as well as other CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD, CircleCIStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasksStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience working with cross-functional teams across different time zonesAbility to lead and mentor junior team members


WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Design and implement software solutions using FlexPLM and VibeIQ, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practicesCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needsLead the development team in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutionsEnsure solutions are scalable, secure, and meet performance requirementsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical notesCollaborate with QA team to develop and execute testing plansParticipate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practicesStay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging standardsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team membersCollaborate with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software solutions
