Description We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Java) to join our team located in Sandy, Utah, United States. This role is in the Communications industry and involves designing, developing, and maintaining quality technical solutions. The Sr. Software Engineer will also be responsible for contributing to technological decisions and driving Agile practices within our organization. Responsibilities: • Develop and design proficient, quality technical solutions that align with corporate architectural standards. • Create solid unit, integration, and automation tests in line with our organizational standards. • Contribute to architectural decisions and drive technological improvements. • Participate in reviewing and improving the design and code of other team members. • Work with the Scrum Team and other internal and external stakeholders to influence decision making and support project or product teams. • Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining existing software applications, identifying and implementing improvements as needed. • Develop technical models and designs for assigned components. • Recognize areas of strength and improvement in the team and employ appropriate coaching and development techniques. • Actively contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of software development and engineering. • Proficient in Java programming language. • Expertise in Hibernate Spring is necessary. • Experience with Web Services API is required. • Strong understanding of software development life cycle. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot software issues. • Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
