Sr. Solution Architect - MDM

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The Solution Architect will work to support and enhance our existing Customer MDM platform, as well as support the implementation of STIBO Master Data Management (MDM) solutions and cloud-based data engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure Cloud Data Engineering, Cloud Data Architecture, STIBO MDM, and related data technologies such as enterprise data management. This role involves developing advanced cloud data and analytic solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices, and providing technical leadership to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Define and Implement STIBO MDM Strategies and Cloud Solutions: Design and deploy comprehensive STIBO MDM solutions and cloud architectures using Microsoft Azure services and other cloud-based technologies, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Accounts, Power BI, and Lakehouse. Support the Enterprise Architecture group in designing STIBO MDM solutions tailored to our truck, bus and parts manufacturing & service solutions needs, including data models, user interfaces, workflows, and integrations. Ensure Adherence to Standards: Align solutions with business objectives, security, compliance, scalability, reliability, and performance standards. Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation for cloud and STIBO MDM solutions. Provide Technical Leadership: Offer technical leadership and mentorship to business units, technology partners, and domain experts. Mentor and coach cloud engineers and developers to enhance their skills and contribute to project success. Guide development teams to adhere to architectural standards, best practices, and coding guidelines. Manage Migration and Integration: Participate in planning and executing Azure cloud migrations and integrations, ensuring seamless data and system transitions. Design and oversee the integration strategy for STIBO MDM with other enterprise systems. Drive Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new STIBO and Azure features, services, and capabilities, and make recommendations for their adoption to enhance our solutions. Identify and implement performance optimization strategies for STIBO MDM applications to ensure scalability and efficiency. Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for data management solutions. Work with technical teams to identify and document system and infrastructure needs, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility. Evaluate Technologies: Assess and recommend appropriate tools and technologies. Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) and technical feasibility studies to support solution recommendations. Develop and Communicate Architectural Designs: Develop and document the overall solution architecture for data applications, including integration points. Effectively communicate architectural decisions and their implications to all relevant parties. Ensure Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure that solutions adhere to security standards and compliance regulations. Define Data Governance: Establish and implement data governance frameworks within the STIBO MDM solution to ensure data consistency and adherence to governance policies. Support Change Management: Develop and support change management strategies related to MDM applications. Assist in training and onboarding staff on new architectural changes and technologies. Document and Report: Ensure thorough documentation of architectural designs, decisions, and changes throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular status reports and updates to project stakeholders. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 12 years of Information Technology or IT architecture experience At least 2 years of lead experience OR Master’s degree At least 8 years of Information Technology or IT architecture experience At least 2 years of lead experience OR At least 14 years of Information Technology or IT architecture experience At least 2 years of lead experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in cloud computing, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and STIBO MDM. Proven experience as a Solution Architect, preferably in the truck manufacturing industry. Microsoft Azure certification(s) (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Data Engineer) and STIBO MDM certification or equivalent. Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure, services, networking concepts, and Fabric technologies. Experience with Azure DevOps, ARM templates, PowerShell scripting, and CI/CD pipelines. In-depth understanding of manufacturing data, including truck production and supply chain management.
