Senior Workday HRIS AnalystThe Opportunity:
The Senior HR Business Systems Analyst will be part of the People Technology team and will have expert level knowledge in one or more of the HR Business Systems capabilities and configurations, Analyses Simple/complex business problems to be solved with systems. Identifies gaps and provide functional/ technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner. Plans, Coordinates and/or executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in automated systems. Provide effective solutions within a specific system/functional area to address business or systems needs that includes troubleshooting production issues.
Your Role:
As Senior HR Business Systems Analyst- you will be responsible for one or more of the following areas:Maintains in-depth knowledge of HR systems and functions.Responsible for leading, planning, designing, architecting, and testing HR system configurations in Workday for the following modules - Core HCM, Compensation/Advanced Compensation, Talent/Performance, Benefits & Absence, Time Tracking and Security.Launch/Support Annual Cyclical programs such as Compensation and Performance.Create new and modify existing Workday reports/Dashboards based on business requirements.Serve as subject matter expert to business end-users, addressing user questions and troubleshooting issues.Evaluate new features/functions for rollout to end-users and recommend solutions / mitigate business risk relative to these changes.Provide production Tier 2 support including analysis and troubleshooting of issues related to configuration, business process, integrations, data or other systems issues.Identify and implement ideas for improving processes and methodologies, particularly where new features in the Workday can be used to improve current processes.Liaise with business end-users to translate business needs into requirements, Complete Gap Analysis and Impact Assessment and recommend appropriate solution, business rules, and business process workflows in the Workday tenant and supporting applications.Ensure Documentation is maintained throughout the project cycle(Business requirement documentation, Test scripts, etc.).Coordinates testing to ensure that interrelated data and processes are thoroughly tested. Ensure proper testing is completed so required specifications are met with efficient, accurate and quality information.Independent judgment and strong initiative combined with the ability to collaborate in a team environmentProvides statistical analysis and interpretation of report data as required.Ensure that defined application controls are maintained and followed.What you’ll bring:Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Business, or Technology discipline.Minimum 3 years of global implementation experience in Workday with in-depth SME knowledge in one or more of the following modules - Compensation, Advanced compensation, Core HCM, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Talent, Recruitment, Security, Reporting/Analytics.Hands on experience in Advanced Compensation and launching compensation cycle.Hands on experience in reporting, EIBs, and Configuration.Excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize effectively and work independently.Good Interpersonal skills.Fluent written and verbal language skills in English.Experience in a global organization strongly preferred,Professional Certification in one or more modules is added advantage,
