The Sr. Solutions Architect – Services Presales plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, shaping our service offerings, and collaborating with clients to design tailored solutions. This role requires deep expertise in modern data center technologies, coupled with strong client-facing and presales skills.
This individual will be responsible for identifying opportunities, crafting service solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful outcomes.
This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.

Design, develop, and position services-focused solutions for modern data center environments, including on-premises and hybrid architecturesCollaborate with sales teams to identify client challenges and align services to meet their needsLead workshops and discovery sessions to understand client objectives, assess environments, and recommend service solutionsDevelop service offerings that encompass implementation, migration, optimization, field, and managed servicesLead the development of SOWs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client needs and business objectivesCreate compelling presentations and supporting materials that articulate the value of SHIs service solutionsStay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to refine and enhance service positioningAct as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on modern data center strategies and service adoptionCollaborate with internal delivery and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of servicesDrive revenue growth within the professional services team by identifying new opportunities and optimizing service offeringsEngage with SHI sales teams, including front line sellers and client success managers, to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client engagementContribute to practice development by identifying areas for growth and leading innovation initiativesCreate and maintain practice standards and practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality servicesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retentionProvide thought leadership and guidance to clients and SHI teams on best practices, trends, and innovations in technology Qualifications Completed Bachelor’s, Technical degree or related work experience in Computer Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of technical experience with increasing responsibilityMinimum 10 years experience designing implementing, and integrating technology solutionsMinimum 10 years experience working with and migrating technology solutionsMinimum 10 years of experience developing and executing scripts for automation and deployment Required Skills Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on service delivery and revenue growth in Professional ServicesStrong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsStrong knowledge of modern data center technologies, including HCI, virtualization, storage, networking, backup and recovery, and hybrid infrastructure platformsAbility to analyze client requirements and design solutions that meet their business objectives and budget constraintsExperience designing and positioning service solutions, including professional services, managed services, and operational supportProficiency in developing proposals and responding to RFPs/RFIsStrong problem solving skills, with a consultative and client-focused approachAbility to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment Unique Requirements Travel to internal meetings as needed, up to 10% Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
