Job Title: Sr. Specialist, Contracts Job Code: 19484 Job Location: Nashville, TN Schedule: 9/80 Job Requirements: This position in the Targeting and Sensor Systems (TSS) Sector of the (IMS) Integrated Mission Systems Segment is responsible for the Contracts that supports a diverse business area, with Customers from various USG Departments and Agencies, as well as large and small business Prime Contractors. The qualified individual must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers. Essential Functions: + Communicates within and outside of own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.) when necessary. + Explains, interprets, and gains cooperation on policies, procedures and practices. + Ability to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Team player who is a problem solver and self-starter. + Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities and self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. + Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. + Experience with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, CAS + Experience with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) + Experience with complex contracts. + Experience in providing business, contractual and risk mitigation strategies to support the needs of the program. + Experience with International Agreements and Terms and Conditions. + Experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle including, contracts administration, proposal preparation and close-out. Preferred Skills: + Knowledge of regulations including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS) and other agency regulations. + Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationship, provide RFP shaping/analysis and have participated in proposal development and bid strategy. + Negotiation experience + Demonstrated business acumen/finance experience + Demonstrated ability to build relationships + Advanced verbal and written communication skills are a must + NCMA professional certifications (CPCM, CFCM, etc) are a strong plus #LI-MH1 L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
