Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to work with the Defense Electronics leadership in order to allow the organization to make effective decisions with regard to bid and proposal efforts.  This position will develop relationships and work closely with other functions to ensure appropriate internal controls and processes are followed so that the cost estimating and pricing for new business is accurate, timely, and complies with USG requirements.

Essential Functions:

Ensure Estimating System Compliance, including audits, policy and procedure review and updates, and trainingEnsure compliance to Government and Company regulationsCapacity to perform well in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines. Ability to work extended hours during peak proposal timesSupport, Review, and approve applicable proposalsWork with cross functional teams to develop BOEsEnsure proposals are delivered compliant and on timeTrain and mentor all levels of the Pricing organization to ensure capabilities are met and individual goals are achievedCoordinate Pricing activities for large competitive proposalsOrganize and provide training on various Pricing topics

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.5 years experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as it relates to pricing activities5 years experience with defense industry and/or multiple contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FPIF, FFP, T&M, OTA etc.) either in execution or in the proposal phase, Government Cost Accounting and Finance principles, cost estimating, cost analysis, and/or proposal pricing, Excel using Pivot Tables, V-Look ups and SUM/IF formulasUS Citizenship

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience with ProPricer or other pricing software toolsKnowledge of Adobe Pro, Nitro PDF Pro, and Microsoft PowerPointExcellent written and oral communication skillsAptitude to read and understand complex requirement documentsMust be a team player, flexible, adaptable, proactive with organizational and problem-solving skills
