Sr. Specialist, Program Finance - Pricing and Estimating
Job Title: Sr Spec, Program Finance – Pricing and Estimating Job Code: 19105 Job Location: Mason, Ohio Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: The purpose of this position is to work with the Defense Electronics leadership in order to allow the organization to make effective decisions with regard to bid and proposal efforts. This position will develop relationships and work closely with other functions to ensure appropriate internal controls and processes are followed so that the cost estimating and pricing for new business is accurate, timely, and complies with USG requirements. Essential Functions: + Ensure Estimating System Compliance, including audits, policy and procedure review and updates, and training + Ensure compliance to Government and Company regulations + Capacity to perform well in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines. Ability to work extended hours during peak proposal times + Support, Review, and approve applicable proposals + Work with cross functional teams to develop BOEs + Ensure proposals are delivered compliant and on time + Train and mentor all levels of the Pricing organization to ensure capabilities are met and individual goals are achieved + Coordinate Pricing activities for large competitive proposals + Organize and provide training on various Pricing topics Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. + 5 years experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as it relates to pricing activities + 5 years experience with defense industry and/or multiple contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FPIF, FFP, T&M, OTA etc.) either in execution or in the proposal phase, Government Cost Accounting and Finance principles, cost estimating, cost analysis, and/or proposal pricing, Excel using Pivot Tables, V-Look ups and SUM/IF formulas + US Citizenship Preferred Additional Skills: + Experience with ProPricer or other pricing software tools + Knowledge of Adobe Pro, Nitro PDF Pro, and Microsoft PowerPoint + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Aptitude to read and understand complex requirement documents + Must be a team player, flexible, adaptable, proactive with organizational and problem-solving skills #LI-MH1 L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
