\nDHL currently has an exciting opportunity available for anQC Inspector (Miami). The QC Inspectors based in Miami International Airport, based at DHL Express, reports directly to the Quality Control Senior Manger based in Panama. The primary function is to support/audit the aircraft maintenance activities of the Miami station for DHL Aero Expreso S.A. performing inspection tasks, Required Inspection Items on the aircraft and Receiving Inspection of aeronautical material for stock; as well as properly complying with all the documentation and regulatory items related to such activities.
\nKey Accountabilities
\n\nEnsure the airworthiness and on time delivery of DHL AERO EXPRESO’s aircrafts and its components in accordance with the Local Aviation Authority requirements and Manufacturer standards/requirements under a 24/7 days operation.• Ensure airworthiness and on time delivery of VENSECAR’s and TRANSAM’s aircraft while PTY Hub operation is in progress.
• Verifies that all maintenance tasks are performed with quality standards according to Manufacturer’s specifications and FAA, AAC, INAC & DGAC regulatory requirements.
• Inspects aircraft according to its approved Maintenance program, following its company General Maintenance Manual procedures.
• Approves and releases aircraft to service.
• Inspects and approves those items classified as RII – Required Inspection Items for their approval.
• Ensure compliance of DHL AERO EXPRESO’s Tool Calibration, Shelf Life, Calendar Control & Scrap Parts programs.
• Performs audits to completed work/orders such as, routine and/or non-routine cards generated under a scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, before returning aircraft or component parts to service.
• To perform Receiving and Inspection to incoming aircraft parts and materials.
• Supports Quality Assurance Program.
• Control the Airline & Approve Maintenance Organization (AMO) Technical Publications for the Aircraft Fleet
• Review AD´s, and/or SB applicability to company aircraft.
• Reviews that the GMM (General Maintenance Manual) is properly used and handled.
• Monitor compliance of DHL AERO EXPRESO’s approved maintenance program.
• Review; analyze FAA Airworthiness Directives and SB’s as applicable to all DHL AERO EXPRESO, S.A. aircraft.
• Review, analyze the status of major repairs, alterations & modifications perform over DHL AERO EXPRESO’s aircraft.
• And other assigned duties as required.\n
Skills and Qualifications
\n\nKnowledge of FAR aeronautical regulations and with the Autoridad de Aviacion Civil de Panama (RACP)\nMust be familiarized with DHL Aero Expreso’s GMM\nMust have a valid A&P license issued by the FAA\nMust have a valid Mechanic license issued by the Panamenian AAC\nMust have training and 3 years of working experience in Boeing 767 and 757 aircraft\nMust be 25 years old minimum\nMust have a good English level\nMust be familiarized with using computer systems such as Office 365\nMust know how to use the software Trax (Desirable)\nMust be able to read, write and work on high altitude if required\nMust have good teamwork skills and good interpersonal skills\nMust be able and willing to work outside in all reasonable weather conditions\nMust be able to operate cars, tow trucks, forklifts or other equipment in the ramp\nMust be eligible to legally work in the US\n\no LANGUAGE: Fluent English/Spanish
