Duties: Work with scrum teams to understand the production changes and impact of the change. Deploy the applications on Production environment and PCF environment. Monitor all the application Splunk dashboard and application performance. Monitor the batch jobs running without any failures and analyze any issues and report to development team. Provide technical support for applications that serve the Investment Management business. Maintain and monitor the applications and integrity of production systems. Prioritize issues based on the severity and effectively act on business impact issues immediately. Participate in the Incident Management, Change management and Problem Management processes. Perform root cause analysis, resolution and reporting for the application issues. Collaborate extensively with peers, Business Analysts, infrastructure teams and other business units to resolve client issues. Support the release management process. Ensuring that all production changes and releases are processed according to Change Management policies and procedures. Engage vendors to perform analysis, resolution to fix issues. Validate, implement, and work with the vendor to debug their code for the systems infrastructure of applications as needed. Utilize Linux and SQL commands to diagnose system issues. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.
Salary: $149,781.00 - $164,800.00
What you haveJob Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Requires 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 36 months involving the following: Job scheduling tools including Control-M, Unix, or informatica; Debugging application issues using Splunk, AppDynamics, or PCF logs; Release management cycle end to end; Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Micro services; Raise incident ticket and Change ticket using service now and remedy to do the prod changes; Writing complex SQL queries and Unix script; and Cloud technologies including AWS or GCP.
