Number Policy Planning and Administration organization manages the life cycle of telephone numbers for AT&T’s telecommunications businesses. Our team provides Staff support for Mobility, CLEC & ILEC in the areas of policy, regulations, Numbers Management systems, method and procedure, reporting, integration and mechanization.
As a Sr Specialist-Network Technology Support, you provide primary support for remote triage/restoral, prioritization, performance analysis, report analysis, RCA analysis and outage event bridge participation for RAN technologies in an 24x7 network environment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Reporting, tracking, documenting, and assisting various support groups
Diagnose, restore, and accurately report on network events
Focus on network fault troubleshooting/resolution and trouble ticket management
Tiers 1 & 2 support of field personnel
IVR phone support
Providing Tiers 1 & 2 support for Wireless, ILEC, CLEC, C-VoIP and B-VoIP product
Create, publish and maintain M&Ps as well as provide training on numbering systems/processes
Project manage the integration of telephone numbers and subscribers acquired through A&T’s Mergers and Acquisitions
Provide planning and engineering level support for Numbering Routing and Optimization, Porting and Pooling, LERG analysis to prepare plans that migrates, grooms and optimizes traffic routing on the AT&T Mobility network
Code Re-Allocation to and from other Service Provider/OCNs
Project Manage NPA Relief for AT&T Enterprise
Required Experience:
24x7 Network Support
Desired Experience:
NPA-NXX numbers management
Familiarity with Linux and comfortable working on software applications using Linux
Data Analysis
Translating and Routing
Interconnect TRUNK capacity knowledge
Desired Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering (preferred), or equivalent related network experience preferred
Our Sr Specialist-Network Technology Support earns between $77,800 - $130,800 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
