Support the global product development process for new products and ensure that suppliers meet FCA requirements. Acting with Purchasing and platform about sourcing strategies and their implementation process definition, particularly on initial assessment (SEA – Supplier Eligibility Assessment and QRA- Quality Risk Assessment) and ensure that suppliers meet FCA requirements per PPA (Process Planning and Audit) and Part Approval Process.Support current product quality management activities. Assure proper non conformity containment tools application and irreversible corrective actions to achieve stable supplier conformity. Grant extensive and deep usage of problem solving techniques at suppliers (8D, RED-X and 6 Sigma.)Verify capability studies to assure process stability and accuracy (e.g. Cp, CPk)Perform at supplier Process Planning and Audit (PPA)) and PPAP (Initial Sample inspection report / Part Approval Process).Implement and support global Supplier Quality guidelines.- Evaluate new suppliers or new supplier processes with major focus on quality and capability impact of process.Review, advice and recommend improvements on supplier manufactured parts: techniques, equipment, fixture, inspection and testing methods and means, in order to achieve the quality required developed during the design review.- Provide on-site launch support at suppliers' facilities to ensure launch readiness as required. Ensure component suppliers' processes are robust and capable.- Work cross functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to ensure proper designs, suppliers, and manufacturing processes are selected. Drive change within both plant manufacturing and component suppliers to resolve component issues.- Audit the process with regard to emerging problems or production transfers.- Verify and support product and process failure analysis. . Lead problem solving activities with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing, as well as supplier organizations.- Responsible for the top problem resolution with external suppliers, yard hold activities, and supplier improvement processes through the use of Kaizen activity, 8D management systems and 8 Stages of Incoming Material for current issues. Speed to containment, root cause, and corrective action.- Monitor quality objectives and provide relevant reports and feedback. Verify correct execution and closure of NBH and TPSL. - Education: Bachelor degree in engineering field with ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC. Master degree preferred- Experience: Min. of 5 years of automotive industrial in quality, engineering, production, manufacturing, or related field experience. Most of all in Process Engineering or Manufacturing, acting in companies with application of production processes for Motor, Wipers, Starter/Alternator and other Electronic parts. Understanding and experience with Parts Approval Process (APQP), Quality Inspection ( Process & Product), Process Audits, Quality Analysis ( Kaizen, Ishikawa, 8D ) and Suppliers Evaluation (ISO 9000/TS16949),Knowledge of Quality Methods: PFMEA, Process Control Plan, Inspection and Test Plans, Statistics/SPC, Controlled Shipping, Design Review, Capacity Analysis (PDR), Gage R&R Studies (MSA). Quality certification and six sigma green belt preferred.- Behaviour: accountable, pro active, self-motivated, strictness, results focused, hands-on, sense of priority/organisation , - Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, overall in English- Ability to quickly learn and adapted to new processes and tools.- Ability to conduct meetings with and make presentations to FCA leadership and senior management, including suppliers Board of Directors.- Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, statistical software, etc. - Availability to travel extensively, including internationally.And work stand-alone.- Ability to work in autonomy and with high sense of task ownership / accountability.
