Description Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join their expanding team. This position plays a key part in the financial cycle of the company and is responsible for numerous accounting elements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, enjoy problem solving, and work effectively in a team-centric environment. Responsibilities: + Prepare and post monthly journal entries. + Perform monthly and year-end closings. + Handle balance sheet reconciliations and inter-company account analysis. + Prepare and analyze financial statements and report on variances. + Assist in audits and general ledger preparation. + Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options. + Maintain confidential financial information. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Master’s degree or CPA is a plus. + 5+ years of accounting experience. + Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. + Strong working knowledge of GAAP. + Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. + Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills.
