Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in the thriving Rental/Leasing Services industry, based in Fontana, California. In this key role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring financial accuracy and integrity by maintaining and reconciling accounts, managing month-end close processes, and supporting audit-related activities. Responsibilities • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Handle the processing of accounts payable and receivable reconciliations • Regularly update and maintain the general ledger • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the accounting process • Conduct the month-end close process following GAAP guidelines • Perform account reconciliations to prevent and correct discrepancies • Participate in both annual internal and external audits • Display self-driven and analytical behavior in managing responsibilities and delivering results • Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions for account maintenance. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role • Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations • Knowledge and experience in maintaining General Ledger • Ability to prepare and review Journal Entries • Experience in Month End Close processes • Strong skills in Account Reconciliation • Experience in Annual External Audit processes • Familiarity with Annual Internal Audit procedures • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Vlookup / Pivot tables) and accounting software • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
