The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department is seeking a Senior Staff Factory Automation Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Lead to join our team and develop these technologies into high-performance computing systems that solve an assortment of unique mission needs. You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Plan and execute the program lifecycle, including major program milestones / reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, Etc.)Ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across multi‐functional teams to develop innovative solutionsEnsure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle.Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.Coordinate between the System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Team Lead(s), program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.

This position will serve on-site in Linthicum/ Annapolis Junction, MD.

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Staff Factory Automation SEIT Lead:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 14 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 9 years of experience.Experience with modern automated factory systems in a semiconductor or microelectronics fab.Experience facilitating internal and customer collaboration to capture and enhance engineering artifactsDemonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle, Focus on SRR to CDR.Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test.Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification.Risk and Opportunity Management experience.Experience with Earned Value Management.Experience leading technical teams.This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with poly clearance per business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications of Sr. Staff Factory Automation SEIT Lead:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance per business requirements.Deep understanding of how MES integrates with broader systems in a Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) architecture.Has worked with Applied Materials SmartFactory CIM solution.Experience managing contracts of $10M+.Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (e.g., UAF, DoDAF).Knowledge of Systems Engineering processing from generation of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Work Product Breakdown into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for the development of complex systems of systems.

Salary Range: $174,800.00 - $274,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
