Your Team, Your Impact
Marvell is designing multiple Silicon Photonic Solutions for high speed data movement. We are looking for a talented Product Engineer who will be responsible for interacting with machine vendor and our contracted manufacturer in Taiwan to handle new product introduction, process development and manufacturing management. The candidate will work closely with machine vendor, CMs, designers, test engineers, and quality engineers located in Taiwan, Singapore and the United States.What You Can Expect
Job Responsibilities
• Product engineering on optical sub-assembly products
• Process development for optical active alignment related process
• Key owner of the new product introduction (NPI) process to bring a design to production
• Defines and communicates design for manufacturability (DFm)
• Work closely with design team and quality team on FMEA and close reliability issues through de-risking and pre-qualification
• Work closely with machine vendor and CM on process development and machine qualification
What We're Looking For
Requirements
• BS with 7+ year and MS with 5+ years industry experience in product development, product engineering, or manufacturing relating to optical components, modules, or systems
• Knowledge of optical modules, components, systems, and devices
• Experience in automation and optical active alignment technology
• Experience with Telecordia GR-468 qualification process
• Understanding of analysis tools such as Gage R&R, FMEA, SPC, Cpk and DOE
• Good communication skill with machine vendor, CM, supplier and X-functional team members
• Strong ownership, excellent communication, flexibility, and team spirit
