Sr. Startup Project Manager

The Sr. Startup Project Manager will lead a cross functional team and coordinate the resources required to launch new and complex projects with the goals of achieving timelines, staying within budget, and driving standardization within our network. The Project Manager will manage medium to large capital projects with aggressive schedule commitments. This role will lead and coordinate schedule of multiple vendors at the same time, as well as interface at all levels of the organization.

 

Ideal candidates for this position will be located in one of the following states: Florida Georgia North Carolina South Carolina Texas Illinois   Remote: While this position does not currently require relocation, candidates within a radius of Boca Raton Headquarters will be required to work in the office a minimum of three days a week. The role will also require 50-75% travel

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Evaluate the effectiveness of existing operational processes and logistics systems to identify opportunities and optimization. Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across the organization. Develop, implement, and govern the execution of all functions of the assigned program, project, or sub-task. Influence design and development of strategic processes. Collaborate with various stakeholders (e.g., warehouse managers, associates, IT, etc.) on the criteria for design and expansion and ensure solutions are tailored to meet business objectives and integrated seamlessly into operations. Assist in the planning of warehouse layout and space utilization to ensure effective product flow and order fulfillment. Conduct time and motion studies to optimize labor utilization and reduce bottlenecks. Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating as appropriate. Project manage and communicate project with all stakeholders via project management tools

 

 

Education and Experience:

Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Area of Study:   Bachelor's degree or a related field of Industrial & Factory planning experience Minimum Years of Experience: 5  Type of Experience: Excellent project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams Experience is defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics Experience in solution optimization, value engineering, best fit analysis (design and data), process development Ability to perform Process Capability Analysis, Time Studies, Line balancing. Experience in layout design in manufacturing and warehousing. Skills & Abilities: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time Manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors. Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
