Location: Baltimore, MD area. Woodlawn section of Baltimore county.
Interview: Phone first and may have to come for face to face. Prefer candidates in the mid-Atlantic region.
Visa status: Any visa status is ok.
Must provide copy of visa.
Good communication skills are key.
Duration: These are long term contracts and can go as long as the contract with SSA. Federal contracts are usually seven years.
Job Description:-
Analyze and document the current states of selected application architectures and formulate specific architecture plans to address the to-be state.
Analyze and document the future state of selected application architectures for a high-impact line of business and detail out the possible implementation approaches.
Propose both architecture and business release paths that will achieve the future state for a selected line of business. Identified release paths should provide an accurate and detailed account of the work that can logically be broken down and prioritized with business outcomes and measures that also identify the impacts to existing IT systems.

Facilitation skills:
Experience in documenting and decomposing complex IT systems and user visions.
Experience with writing user stories.
Collaboration between self-organizing, cross-functional teams for software development.
Rapid and flexible response to change along with self-organization and motivation.
Effective communication skills including verbal, both speaking and comprehension, as well as written, which includes preparation and comprehension.
Additional Info-
Minimum experience and education: Candidates with a BS degree must have the minimum of 11 years or 132 months of work experience specific to the job description.
If a candidate has a Master’s degree, they still need a minimum of 11 years or 132 months of work experience but only nine years or 108months of experience specific to the job. The other work experience to meet the 132 months does not have to be IT related.
Work experience while in college can be counted toward the overall years.
If no degree, work experience may be substituted.
Background clearance: All candidates selected will have to go through a Federal government background check prior to being able to start. Generally, the background process takes between 3,4 or 5 weeks. The time is dependent on how quickly the candidate is able to complete the paperwork.
Candidates will obtain a Public Trust clearance upon approval.
