ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Sr. Substation - Physical Engineer based in the West Palm Beach, Florida area to join our team.

Are you a passionate and experienced engineer looking to make a significant impact in the power industry? Join our dynamic team as a Senior Substation Physical Engineer and play a crucial role in designing and implementing state-of-the-art substation projects. Your expertise will help us ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of physical aspects of substations, including grounding details and lightening protection studies.

Create detailed one-line diagrams, general arrangement drawings, and equipment specifications, elevations, and foundations.

Perform calculations for cable ampacity, grounding, and station auxiliary loads.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design packages.

Conduct quality control reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Extensive experience in substation design and engineering. Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineer licensure and ability to obtain reciprocity in multiple states
