SummaryThe Senior Systems Engineer is the lead to provide systems support and management for 79+ sites and growing locations across the USA. Must have the ability to effectively work independently with minimal supervision and provide leadership and support to the IT team. This position covers all aspects of Systems Engineering & Operations including capacity planning, service delivery, security and support using the latest technologies at a company who is an industry leader. The Senior Systems Engineer must be an expert in cloud services and infrastructure. The role will be the lead engineer for all Microsoft Azure and 365 services and will work closely with all areas of IT to assist in the architecture, design, and build of the cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure and 365. The engineer must take lead on gathering, analysis, design, and implementation of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). This role will be responsible for process automation utilizing an array of automation tools and scripting to improve business process.

DescriptionThis role is responsible for the design, architecture, operation, and maintenance of the cloud and on-prem environments, including maintaining all cloud systems, desktops and remote workforce (front-end platforms, servers, storage, network monitoring and support, etc...)Windows Server Installation/Configuration/TroubleshootingWindows Client Installation/Imaging/Configuration/TroubleshootingRemote Support Technology for Remote Support of 79+ locations and remote workforceMicrosoft 365administrator and management of all M365 services, policies, and deployment across the enterpriseDesign, manage, and deploy mobile device management (MDM) solutions to protect company data.Microsoft Active Directory (Trusts, Group Policy, DNS, Replication, Login Scripts, etc)Microsoft Windows Client OS (10/11) automated deploymentVirtual server management including VMware and Microsoft virtual desktops and serversBalance and manage costs associated with Azure cloud services including Azure Virtual DesktopMicrosoft Entra ID integration with 3rd party apps and services for SSOWork with Workday HRIS platform to ensure Active Directory data synchronization and account onboarding and offboarding automationSupport of existing DFS and migrating to modern Azure based file servicesWork closely with the IT Security team to monitor the company's cloud privacy and riskFollow NIST Cybersecurity FrameworkEstablish process automation with Power Automate & PowerShell to improve process workflows and eliminate manual work effortsProvides excellent team leadership and mentorship to all PM staffServes as escalation point and provides Tier 2 and 3 supportCoordinates resolution of incidents/requests from beginning to end with internal and external resources keeping leadership updated.Works to achieve first-touch resolution with all issues and at root cause level Collaborates with all Information Technology & Compliance disciplines and policiesCreates, maintains and updates documentation with most relevant informationProvides on-call support and responds to major incidents and outagesPerform other special projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or related field or equivalent experienceFive (5) years or more experience as a Systems Engineer in a complex cloud environmentAdvanced working experience with Azure and Office 365 ProductsAdvanced working experience with Microsoft IntuneAdvanced working experience with Windows Server and Windows Client OSAdvanced working experience with automation tools and PowerShell scriptingOrganizational fit for the PM Pediatrics culture

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or related field or equivalent experienceCertifications (Networking or MS Azure preferred)Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in an multi cloud/on prem environmentKnowledge of Multi-Vendor Cloud SolutionsKnowledge of remote workforce Windows client Imaging/Support/UpdatesKnowledge of LAN environment using TCP/IP, distributed DHCP, DNS/AD integrationKnowledge of Windows Client 802.1x for LAN or WLAN deploymentsKnowledge Enterprise NAS/DAS/SAN and Cloud StorageKnowledge of Workday AD integration
